| Hi All, Lists are good for Sunday nights hopefully get a bit of discussion going. I've just made a playlist of my favourite Camera Obscura b-sides . Wouldn't it be amazing if they played a full show of lesser known stuff anyway here is my top 5. There is great footage on You Tube of the band doing San Francisco Song live I wish I had been there .
1. San Francisco Song 2. The Last Song 3. I Don't Want To See You 4. Let's Go Bowling 5. I Can't Stay Mad At You

| Hey Paul,
Most of the cd singles are still available on HMV and Amazon's sites if you want the physical copy. All of the singles are available to download from iTunes. They have some great songs tucked away there.
I have to say Greyhound Going Somewhere is one of my favourites I wish there was a proper version recorded I suppose for now I'll just have to do with the session version which is why I didn't count it in my top 5

| yeah - Greyhound is a great cover..thats why i gave it the ol' "honorable mention" if i take my cover away, I'd go with Last Song too.. i always thought it was on an album or an import version with bonus tracks at the least but its only found on the Tears for Affairs single (as far as i can find out??) tony | |

as Steven said, you can find most of them online or with iTunes and make sure you check each of them out as several songs have multiple releases.. for example, Lets Get Out of This Country has one release with LGOOTC, Lemon Juice and Return to Send Her and another release that has LGOOTC and Modern Girl. I dont exactly know why they'd release twice? maybe one was released by Elefant (UK label) and the other by Merge (US label)... tony OH and if you want to hear a bunch of the singles online, you can check out the Elefant website here.... http://www.elefant.com/bands/camera-obscura they have real player streams of the tunes and some even have the videos for download (for free)

| "The World Is Full Of Strangers"! The line "don't ask me to love you when you know that I will" is beautiful. | |

| heyho folks - just bak from holidays and catchin up on all the chats here...did a quick google again for the upcoming "Christmas" single B-side to be released next month and found this link... http://peoplesmusicstore.com/commonpeople?product=539032 you can listen to the whole track - kinda grainy sound and pauses every 30 seconds but gives a fantastic taste of their rendition of Jim Reeves song "the Blizzard"... tony
an here's the original... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2fyFumisiU

| welcome back tony, weve missed ya..i have bin listeninin to a b side compilation for a few days now, they are all very, very strong and deserve a stand alone vinyl release maybe backed up with rare bird as a double vinyl...the early singles i notice have a very prominent guitar style and quite a lot of long lost elaborate patterns, kenny has kinda eased on the breaks methinks..an a lot of that intracate playing has gone by the by,its quite steady now......not knockin him like,he`s a great player.......... | |

Can't wait to hear the CO version. Also... that cover of "Tougher than the Rest" is soooo friggen good. I think CO should really consider doing a whole album of Springsteen covers. Imagine this album of CO/Bruce covers: 1) Tougher Than The Rest 2) Racing in the Street 3) Growin' Up 4) Because the Night 5) No Surrender 6) The Price You Pay 7) The Promised Land Hungry Heart 9) Backstreets 10) Incident on 57th Street I'd especially love to hear TAC singing "mister I ain't a boy, no I'm a man!" on "the promised land". or she could play with the gender roles like she did on "tougher than the rest". bonus track would be "brilliant disguise". heh. I guy can dream.... Or maybe just a big covers album would be nice. Would love to hear some Dylan or Elvis covers. "Any Way You Want Me" would be heaven!

i can never resist! must admit i've never even heard that song before this cover - heard lots of his Christmas tunes but not much else... pretty great tune nonetheless but would've loved to hear the cheesy monologue thingy that they always did... TAC singing is sweet but a tongue-in-cheek mono would've been stellar! and an album of covers - great idea an would love to hear a CO one of whoever.. i think theres a few out there. I know of one fer sure - Danny Michel did an album of Bowie covers called "Loving the Alien". i hav never been accused of being a big Bowie fan - dont care much for his singing but i ALWAYS love cover songs of his.. guess i like his writing! again again - a CO cover album would be to die for! tony

| The single-track Blizzard CD was $5. A bit steep but I got it anyway. I don't recall any other singles. Just the full length CDs and LPs. They were selling like crazy in Atlanta. T-shirts and postcards too. | |

| I believe all of the singles and 7"s were $5. They had "The Sweetest Thing", "French Navy", "The Blizzard" and "Honey in the Sun" (i believe). I just got the sweetest thing and the blizzard.
There were LPs for the last 3 albums (I think there was "Underachievers") but definitely no biggest bluest. I want to say those were $15.
T-shirts were $20 and totes were, hmm.. $12 or $15. Pretty similar designs to the last tour. The keyboard design and the peacock design. Different colors though.
