Son Of A Gun The Vaselines I just bought "Enter The Vaselines" new compilation today excellent stuff
Saw them at a tiny little club in New Jersey last year. Amazing! Bob, Stevie and Rich from B&S were the backing band. And they'll be back in NY this month. Score!
Glad you like the new compilation. I'm still waiting on my copy to come from Amazon. Is it me, or has Amazon been incredibly slow lately?

Seen them last week in Glasgow, it was brilliant 1st time I've seen them since they reformed. I did see them in the 80's but they were always the support band so were never on very long.

Who played in the band at the Glasgow gig? I read somewhere that it's a totally different lineup than last year (except for Eugene and Frances, of course).

'You & I' - Wilco feat. Feist - on as right Wilcofest right now, I think their new album is up there with their best and this song is meoldically superb and the backwards guitar at the end is just fantastic...really hope to see them live after the buggers cancelled their Newcastle date around 'Sky Blue Sky'...
