Thinking of going to the UK for a holiday next year. Will definitely have to try and time it to catch them this time.
Last time I was in the UK was in 2007 but I hadn't heard of them yet.

Thanks for the review of the Hebden Bridge gig, Graeme. Looks like CO is sounding as good as ever.  I was so happy when CO announced their tour of California and Mexico in October.  I was hoping they might even play Seattle. It seems like the release of Desire Lines was so long ago but it was only 2 years ago. Now with Carey's cancer returning, they have to cancel their shows. Wishing for a speedy recovery for Carey.

Yeah crazy! It doesn't seem like two years that DL has been out!
It doesn't seem like that long ago that I was sporadically visiting their site every month or so to see if there were any updates.

I wonder what Carey's health was like when she was playing this show? I wonder if she'd been having symptoms of if this was caught in a followup checkup/scan.
Either way, totally sucks, I hope she's able to push through it, she's such a ray of light in the band.

One thing I noticed, towards the end, was that she was grimacing and breathing hard. It was the first gig in a while so you could understand it but I did comment on the way home that she looked a bit distressed.
Anyway, let's just wish her well.

Yeah, here's hoping. Good to see her fundraiser is doing nicely. Must make a donation myself before it closes.
