what he said... grace, beauty and intelligence combined with the most beuatiful melodies.. the s&g box set of the complete works on cd you can pick up for a tenner or less if you search.

There was a new Dr Dog song released today... http://www.bit.ly/bM5HOv I found a nice live acoustic version of it on YouTube
Apparently they've got a four-track EP coming sometime this fall that includes the new track. Hoorays are in order!

Also, http://www.vimeo.com/16284241 New video of "Heart to Tell", first official one I know of for The Love Language Also this song was playing in the background in a scene from this week's Raising Hope episode, "Happy Halloween" (that's a fantastic show if any North American folks with broadcast FOX want to check it out). I was incredibly giddy when I heard it on TV.

The seekmagic master Nick turned me on to this duo recently: Dean & Britta. They describe themselves as space age chamber pop, I'm inclined to agree, while adding "retro 70's overplush sexy times folk" to that label. That is to say, they are pretty great.
Here's a video:
Though my favorite isn't actually on YouTube, but was a guest spot on some Australian children's TV program. It is posted on their official website here: http://deanandbritta.com/videos.htm - The video you want is the default, but for posterity's sake, is called "Let's Ride"
