| not sure how much interest there'd be in this on this predominantly pop site but i hafta try to help out these guys as its my brother-in-law's band... they are based out of our nation's capital Ottawa and called the Woodrunners (a sort of play on words with the historical "Coureur des bois" - french fur traders in North America).. they play a rootsy-rock and cite their influences as Neil Young, Wilco, the Faces, CCR, Supergrass, etc... they are having their first EP release today in Ottawa and I'm heading up in a few hours for the party... anyhow, here are the typical links if interested.. official website: http://www.thewoodrunners.com/ myspace: http://www.myspace.com/thewoodrunners facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheWoodrunners | |

| Sounds kinda like a country-fied World Party. They have a pretty nice website...which is rare to see in a small band. Even Camera Obscura's is nothing special. The Woodrunner's site is very professionally done. And you know, I pay attention to things like that, cause that's my day-job. | |
