i was getting in for my 3k as well

this is pretty special

that album i played when i was livin at the caravan in wintertime when i went to sleep...its special,but i cant be doin with chan on stage like that,an the people she surrounded herself with after the memphis horns...i dont know wether you remember but i booked a flight to see her in paris at the cigalle.....she cancelled,i`m not mad at her..she was depressed and admitted a bit later after she`d gone to ground that she wanted to kill herself...there is a great film of her from 99 called"at the bottom of the hill"for me,that is her at her finest...very vunerable which adds a certain depth to the songs.............

Congratulations frankly Mr. I apologise for not having popped in to say hello previously but I had lost my way over the past year coupled wih extreme computer grief which is ongoing natch. Gra, I think this forum will be a slow burner - put it in perspective compared to the old official forum - this is already far far busier. Martin - nice to hear from you buddy, now your mojo is back let's have a nice new compilation (see compilation thread) - as for my own posting, i'm afraid I haven't been posting much anywhere due to work and family etc, sure hope all of Shacknet isn't lost - did Matt overload it with downloads or something??

Sorry I've not been on in a while I've been busy. Went to see Oasis at Heaton Park Manchester on Thursday I feel like i've been in a war. Definitely too old for the full-on festival experience especially with 2 power cuts, then fell and sprained my ankle.
Oasis were good though

Great video. She is amazing. Live show has been much improved over the last few years, as well.

That tour she did for "The Greatest" was a spectacular show. The Memphis band was top-notch.
