| i noticed on their website blog (but not the myspace one) that they played a live radio session - anyone hear it?? "We did a little live session for them in their St Paul studio – complete with funny mistakes and everything – then went on to play a show in the fabulous Cedar Cultural Center" - Kenny
..cant seem to find any reference to it at all online... (am i obsessed?) tony

| in case anyone was interested...I found a live session they did at KEXP in Seattle (i think) on June 6th-09. the setlist was French Navy, James, Swans & Tougher Than The Rest (Bruce Springsteen cover). Im not sure if the band minds me posting this link...but I dont think it will become available commercially. http://www.zshare.net/download/61107872c8e49deb/ | |

| here is that show at KCRW... http://www.zshare.net/download/61593793ea176c05/
tracklist: Swans Honey in the Sun Forests and Sands French Navy James Tougher Than the Rest You Told A Lie
i found a few tracks on blogs but the quality was poor so i just recorded it using Audacity myself. still not great but better than what i found. also, i did not include the interview and intro parts as the host seemed to be a fan but asked the same old questions and didnt inspire any good responses from the band. i find that to be pretty typical over here (in North America) and am saddened that nobody can connect with this band like Paul Morley, Radcliffe & Maconie did (over here that is) or the interview on the George Lamb show. anyhow - the show was pretty good

| Thanks for these, guys! I've been looking for some live Camera Obscura for ages. Any chance you've got lossless versions (i.e., FLAC) ? If you need space to upload them to, I own a webserver and can give you anonymous FTP access. That goes for anybody, btw! | |

i don't have any - sorry. most of the stuff i find, i play it on my computer and use the program called Audacity to record them but it only gives me the option to export to mp3, wav or ogg. tony

So if it's too much trouble, just forget about it, that's completely alright. I'm just an audiophile junkie and like to have my music as perfect as possible. ;) But beggars can't be choosers. These recordings are fantastic, even in a lossy format - so thank you very muchly.

| Drat! I used to have a dime account but it got purged at least a year ago due to inactivity. You wouldn't happen to have any invites, eh? ;) Right now I get all my bootlegs from TradersDen, but there's no Obscura whatsoever there. | |

| sometimes your lucky an get in(capped at 100,000 users)..its all fan stuff only, and they are hard line about anythin thats ever been released not bein in there to upload, they are very stringent and sometimes there will be a setlist for a live show with say tracks numbered 1-16...if one track has been available legitimately like a b side to a cd or single in outer mongloia it wont appear in the download.............have fun(there where the two dvd`s in there not so long ago 2006 and 2007) | |

| good to know - i like to buy the legit stuff anyhow to try and support the bands. not to say i'm opposed to downloadin to see if i like it in the first place! this goes especially for indie bands who are trying to "make it". tony | |
