I didn't quite make it to the Athens gig due to car issues, but did make it to the Oct. 8 show in Chicago.
I updated my RYM list, with probably the longest entry for any band I've done, because they're more than one band.
Here's a copy/paste:
I've been assimilated by VTY...resistance was futile

Releases:
2010 "Across The Sea", well not released yet but despite the poor audio quality on the youtube vid, you can hear it's one of their best tunes. Can't wait to get this in HQ!

2010 "Things You Used to Say" CD LP via Skywriting
2009 "Reminders" CD EP available from the band, PM at myspace or email them for their paypal address and total
2008 Cloudberry "801" 3" CDR release, with "1,2,3,4" and "Pop Song '91". Very limited release of 100 copies, but they had 1 left at the Oct. 8 gig.
You can find the tracks on this blog:

2008 "Uncertain Times" on the "Starting Anew: A WeePOP-UP Complilation" WEEPOP026 limited 3" CDR release. Good luck trying to locate an official copy...it's nowhere to be found but on megaupload (that site seems infested with driveby virus attacks, make sure your antivirus software is working or use Firefox on a Ubuntu Linux PC or VM).
Kristine and Lisle have a few other projects:
Tiny Fireflies has a similar style to the Brittle Stars. Stunningly gorgeous songs and released for free on eardrumspop. Can't wait for more releases from this project. After the Brittle Stars broke up, there's been a void in that style sound...(yeah Elephant Parade is great, but it's not the same style, except for Grand Opening)

Listen to You Disappear and Lazy Heart on repeat and you get warped into an alternate universe... a bit like Douglas Heart's debut. The album "Home" was released in 2008 on cassette on the now defunct BestKeptSecret label, so I've only have heard what's on the myspace and blogs. This following link just appeared in my recent google search (Nov. 2, 2010), and it looks like it may be re-released on CD! I'm going to email Kristine for confirmation.

Most of VTY was in The Lorimer Sound and they released one limited EP on Weepop. It's a rock&roll version of VTY and most excellent. Like the other Weepop release I mentioned, you will not likely be able to find it... but on the following blog the EP is being streamed:

There are also 3 non-EP tracks on the myspace, some leaning more towards VTY's current sound.
Earlier somewhat experimental projects (Lisle was involved on one track and Kristine sings on all):

And for completeness (male vocals), Lisle's excellent Fireflies project:

Oh yeah...I made it to the Oct. 8, 2010 gig at The Empty Bottle in Chicago, and it was totally worth the trip. They're playing there again Nov. 16. Attend if ya can!
