just saw from FB page... supporting Belle and Sebastien! heree.... http://www.belleandsebastian.com/news/european-tour-supports-announced
Zoey Van Goey 8th April, Koln, Ewerk 9th April, Rotterdam, Playhouse 10th April, Brussels, AB 11th April, Paris, Grand Rex
i see Those Dancing Days there too... i like em but i know many of you were disappointed with that last God Help the Gal single that was sung by Linnea Jönsson.. new album by them is decent but still prefer debut.. maybe its too much like mainstream pop that turns me off..

Hey Tony, I saw on the Facebook page that you got the ZVG show at BBC1 to play. How did you get it to work in Canada? iPlayer blocks me as a Yank and I assume everybody else in the world who isn't in the UK.

new single from ZVG and free download of the tune here... http://godisinthetvzine.co.uk/index.php/2011/05/09/zoey-van-goey-slate-new-single-free-mp3/ also has a quirky spoken piece called "it never snowed in scotland but in canada it did" to listen to there... man, i love this band! somebody tell me that it gets cold enough in other place to freeze your boogies! something i always assumed happened everywhere but that wouldnt make much sense.. stupid canuck..

Guys, been home for 2 weeks recovering from jetlag and getting arounf the friends and family. We have until end of June until we fly back out to Asia for another 2/3 months then off to Oz to find work.
Looks like we are going "DownUnder" for a couple of years.
Joy oh Joy to be back and picking up on the music scene, and was really excited about the new album based on Pauls and Tonys reviews.
Ordered today, and guess what ... they play my hometown in an intimate little venue on 9th June ... just a couple of weeks which should give me enough time to get familiar with the new album.
happy happy happy

ZVG sent an email out an had a coupla bits of news... they're putting out a limited release remix album at a show in Glasgow.. link here... http://www.tickets-scotland.com/artists.html?event_searchtext=zoey+van+goey&event_method=search they've said its the only way to get the album and its included in the price of admission.. dont know if ya can buy extra copies at the show but i'd be willing to send some money to have someone pick me up a copy.. anyone going??
another bit of crap news is that their first 2 albums were stored at the Sony/DADC Warehouse Fire that was pyro'd.. very shitty news for alot of bands.. surprised no-one's mentioned it here yet...
