| I'm supporting Brazil, but I don't really like the team this year and I can't stand our coach.
I don't think Brazil will win, Spain may have good chances... Maybe Argentina, I'm not sure, as they have good players, but I have no faith in Maradona as a doctor.
I wish I had the time to watch all the games, but unfortunately school and work will keep me from doing that. At least I'll be able to watch all Brazil's matches, because the country literally stops when our National Team plays.
How do you guys watch the games in your countries? I'm really curious!

| luckily for me this year cbc is streaming all the games online so i just tune in at work listening and click over to view when the commentators get excited.. i think i'd hafta pick a spain-brazil final and my money is on spain.. but as proven by the south africans, i will probably be most excited in matches with underdogs.. | |

| I saw the second half today during my lunch break. It was such a shame, South Africa should've won.
I can't wait til tuesday! It's Brazil's first match and we will leave work early to see the game! People from my office will probably just go to a pub nearby and get drunk. It's great, because of the time difference the matches will always be either at 11 am or at 3:30 pm!
You can imagine how people will go back to work after the matches at 11am! LOL

| Spain/Brazil favourites, and agree with Tony that Spain might just have the edge.
If Holland can hold themselves together, I think they are good outside bet.
England V USA today - reckon DRAW 1-1

Hey Pizza, are you sure you mean doctor ? LMAO Where did that come from! I meant coach. LOL Note to self: do NOT post at forums too late at night. ETA: Wow, this Nigeria vs Argentina match was awful to watch. Argentina should've scored at least 3 goals...

| some surprises this weekend... didna like the eng-us game. maybe was expecting to see more great plays like that first goal or the 20th minute play by us.. and would rather the americans capitalized on a decent chance than see that kind of finish.. that run by Altidore about mid-way thru 2nd half was stellar.. wish i had wheels like that! didnt expect australia to win but hoped for a better showing - the cahill card was unbelievable but from the refs angle it mustve looked horrendous.. the finishes in this match were pretty to watch tho.. usually i enjoy the lower ranked teams games but they were a bit drab i found.. hope it picks up! thought anyone... bueler bueler... | |

| I see Lee has posted a slight hangover blog on the 'marvellous' engerland non-performance against Algeria. The little celtic fringe nations always like to see England floundering. Its nothing to do with English people or even the English players; its the ridiculous English media we can't stand. I think a lot of sensible English people are rather embarrassed by the twin track approach of their own tabloids - arrogant, overblown hype followed by vitriolic, vindicative criticism.
I suspect Holland and Denmark have a similar small neighbour view of Germany; ditto Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay relations to Brasil.
My own preference would be for the Netherlands, Spain or Argentina to reach the final, i.e. not Brasil, Germany or Italy again - enough already!

| Well, I still don't have much faith in Brazil, but considering how bad the matches have been, I think we might end up winning this thing...
I absolutely HATE Lucio! He should not be there... ugh! And Dunga is an idiot! I wish we had a coach with brains, but, apparently, CBF doesn't like people who think.
Anyway, good to see Luis Fabiano scoring again and Kaká playing better... his performance against North Korea was a disaster.
I want all the African teams to do well, and I really liked what I have seen of the USA so far, so I want them to do well too.

| Just arrived yesterday, bit jetlagged but saw the NZ/Italy game. The Kiwis and Ozzies have the same sort of antagonistic banter What about the French Camp ? Serious unrest ! Anelka sent home and the whole team on strike refusing to train for the manager ? | |

| For the next game, Germany will have 190 million more people cheering them on! LOL Really hope Brazil wins tomorrow, but I'm not sure it'll happen | |
