Can't believe it's taken me this long to notice, but the two lines in the French Navy chorus:

I wanted to control it
But love I couldn't hold it

Is Tracyanne saying she wet herself?
They have drugs for that, girl!

Anybody else think of other lines that could mean other, not necessarily toilet-related, things?

ye used the 200th topic to talk bout this?? too funny.. i am maybe not the king of misheard lyrics but i'm definately the runner up!.. so i cant even venture what is "meant" half the time... i'd wager tho that she has no bladder issues! Wink i did however imagine that when she said "did the ironing in a cowboy hat" (from Happy New Year) that possibly that was all she had on!! What a Face

laughed my ass off yesterday when my daughter was belting out in her 7-year-old best voice
Quote :
Hey Lloyd I’m ready to be heartbroken
I can’t see further than my own nose on the snowman
gotta love her!

sometimes old posts are great to revive.. i still think of the "bladder" issue with a chuckle when i hear it in the song paul!
a thought came to me as i listened to "away with murder".. i always envision that TAC is writing from her perspective but never thought that she could be writing from someone else's view.. i mean, its not likely but when you've got a great friend or close sibling, its easy to think of things from their viewpoint - especially when its tragic or traumatic eh?..
hm, must be gettin tired.. i'm too philosophical right now.. or drunk..
