| Fook me ! TFC shows are as rare as Hens Teeth mate.
And quite possibly, one of the greatest live experiences ever...especially remembering a Barra's gig, which would go down as one, if not the best, all time fave gig. Barring CO at TITP 2009 obviously. :-)

I know what you mean there. I look at myself as a 17 year old, 19 year old, even 21 year old, and am often disgusted. I imagine I'll feel the same about my 22/23 year old self when I'm 36. The important thing, I guess, is that one recognizes and learns from one's dim-wittedness, and improves.

| Thats a cool take. We have a "DohDolly" made my friends mother for my graduation some 20 years ago or so. Its me, M, and Stacey when she was about 5/6. Basically a handpainted model of us made from doh..I'll see if I can upload a pic. Its hung on our L/R wall for years and we always gets comments from folk about it. I especially like the way M's glasses were made out of fuse wire, and its a bit uncanny Back to thread....Have just booked 2 x TF tickets for Edinburgh Playhouse on 3rd June - Michelle has never seen them live before but its something she has talked about for years. Its just that anytime they played, we were always doing something else. I've seen them a few times, a Barras gig in 97 I think which was rocking, with sweat dripping from ceiling. Also at Oran Mhor, small intimate gig 2 years or so ago. Pete

| So..... Teenage Fanclub is on Merge now. (Don't know where they were between the now defunct Creation Records and Merge, but that's where they are) And they've got an album coming out in June: http://mergerecords.com/store/store_detail.php?catalog_id=705
Yay! Sad to see no vinyl is available for preorder. Hmm.

| One of my best ever gigs were TF at the Barrowlands in '97, sweat was dripping from the ceiling, every tune had the crowd going wild, the chiming guitars were literally cutting you in half with melodies. They blew the roof off the place. Can't wait to see them again. | |
