| Hi All,
I don't know if any of you are members of the site Dimeadozen but they have a few new live gig recordings of Camera Obscura on there. One from 26/06/09 from Montreal, one from 19/11/09 from Alabama and one that I'm still downloading from Poland in October this year. The sound quality of the 2 I've downloaded is pretty good very listenable. Similiar sets on both gigs however Books Written For Girls, Pen And Notebook and Tougher Than The Rest are on there none of which were played at the gigs I attended in the U.K. I'm not very good at uploading things to websites if somebody can send me details I'll try and put them up. Or I could e-mail the folders to somebody who is better at it than me. Files are in FLAC format but they are easy to convert to mp3 on my mac I used software called Switch.

| Hi snow. If you can wait a few hours for all the files to upload, I can put them on my personal webserver. In fact, I've already started.... Will keep you posted.
(BTW, I'm uploading the original torrents, which are in my preferred format, Flac. If you need mp3, let me know, I can convert & upload those as well.)

| Ok mates, Here's where the files are being uploaded to:
http://www.allthefriendswecanget.com/live/
Once again, they are all in their original format, the big files, FLAC, the smaller ones, MP2. If you want MP3, please ask, it's no trouble. There are five total shows in queue to upload. At this very moment, only two are finished. And I don't have the Montreal show finished downloading from Dime yet (no seeds, stuck at 87%), so that one is not on its way...yet.
Cheers, Paul | |

If i've still got nth percent to go then, I'll ask. Steven, you still got the torrent handy and could lend this leecher a few bytes of your bandwidth?

cheers! Got it! Thanks mate... Now it's on its way to my webserver for the non-torrented among us. I'll be seeding that, and all the other shows, for ages. With no leeches to feed, it's going to be a long time before my ratio is restored to 2.0... :P

| New gig on Dime today: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=289221 Camera Obscura Japan Shows 2010 with FurukawaMiki, Ogre You Asshole Jan. 29, 2010 Shindaita Fever, Tokyo, Japan (JSR CO-001) Setlist (79:54) 1. intro 2. My Maudlin Career 3. Come Back Margaret 4. Swans 5. Tears for Affairs 6. Teenager 7. Pen & Notebook 8. French Navy 9. The Sweetest Thing 10. You Told a Lie 11. Keep It Clean 12. Honey in the Sun 13. James 14. Lloyd I'm Ready to Be Heartbroken 15. If Looks Could Kill (encore) 16. Country Mile 17. Let's Get Out of This Country 18. Razzle Dazzle Rose Source: Sony ECM-717>Sony D-100 (@ 2m from stage center) Lineage: D-100 > SBDMSX > PC (48/16 L-PCM) > Remaster (Peak) > 44.1/16 .wav > Track Split (CDWave) > FLAC frontend > .flac (level * remaster note * applied slight EQ but it's only a bit of lifting middle to high range up and reducing very low range. * note * This is an audience recording for Camera Obscura live in Tokyo, the second day for their FIRST EVER JAPAN SHOWS, only held in Tokyo... I believe there're plenty of CO fans in Japan but unfortunately it needed 10 years to call on them to... In addition, Tokyo only shows and held at very small club... sad thing. Shindaita Fever is a club for live music and the capacity is 300. There were a lot of people but I could locate very good position, about 2m from stage center. There were some young loud guys but they were almost quiet during the songs like other normal Japanese people :-D Anyway, it was REALLY great show with very at home atmosphere. After the show, all members came to lobby and held autograph session. It took almost an hour and a half because all fans could shake hands, talk or take photo with individual members. Great moment. (see booklet photo) Hope someone enjoy this recording. Jun'ya aka the_sphere Feb. 7, 2010 | |

| Gasping galligher! Pen & Notebook, Teenager, and Keep It Clean are on that set list. If I can get them to play those and I Don't Do Crowds (or equally as good, All The Friends...) in Iowa City, I will probably die right there in the audience from an endorphine overdose. And wow. 80 minutes. That's a long night for them. | |

I don't know where I got it, probably Dime or TTD, but I saw that posted and then discovered I already had it. The exact torrent in fact, I was able to start seeding immediately. It probably got abandoned and this user reposted.
