Back from camp. Very sunny and green and good fun goofing about on the pedal go karts. I tried a bit of climbing as they had a climbing wall. I never should have tried the hard one. Takes a lot of upper body strength and might to lug a piece of meat like me up over a ledge

sunday gone was spent here
we swam in the river, lay by the bank..pretty idylic huh,we strummed a bit of guitar and sang....this is one of my favourite places....we were a picnic short of a picnic.....and the smell of food was everywhere in the air.....we got hungry and headed down home.....the sun poured down like honey and as we climbed the hill back,we will reach into our memory to try and catch the way were when winter comes,if anyone asks i will say you only need a handfull of days like these in any given year to make it all worthwhile.............and i think to myself what a wonderfull world.........

What he said. Had a few wonderful days out last week when the weather was fine, I recently joined the National Trust and it's proved to be money well spent.

had a different kind of sunday today, this mornin was dry an blowy..got out there quick cut the lawns cleaned the windows upstairs and down...and got inside quick before the rain came...it then came...i lay down a while on my sofa by the window, the rain bouncin off the roof,i listened to
fire escape in the sky/the godlike geius of scott walker-zoo 2
this is a collection put together by julian cope of his favourite scott walker songs, its a fantastic collection of songs and perfect for an afternoon like this......"such a small love"is the first song on it,is there a better song?when it comes on i believe there isn`t......the whole album is pure joy,and hammers home majestic lyric intertwined with masterfull orchestration..........i love sundays......ah well off for me roast dinner now.......work tomorra............

Spent the day with Orynthia's family eating lots and lots of lovely food and drinking the occasional glass of wine. Rather splendid.

3 randoms pulled out for to soundtrack my sunday mornin ironin....
seven swans-sufjan stevens big hits(hide tide and green grass)-the rolling stones autobahn-kraftwerk
what a strange mix?anyways, seven swans..quite a spiritual one this, very stripped down compared to some of the big sound of illinoise, quite a down album i suppose because its stripped bare..erm i love it,the stones, well i`m not a big fan,i like the brian jones stones more, this is a great album though, its a mono affair so its not the best, good solid album, when bein the rolling stones meant more than just agin money grabbers....autobahn,well its like an old friend this, when you first hear the album its like..bleedin hell, its too long..but the more and more familiar you become with it,must be likened to the bods that enjoy classical pieces without the snobbery, from the key goin into the ignition...its great....who would though that 4 strange german blokes mimicin a motorway in germany could be so good......
of for a bikey soon...its quite a nice day now its stopped rainin.........get some stuff in for a sunday dinner.......

My fave single of all time is "Don't talk to me about Love" - I get slagged continually for mentioning this band, I don't think people really listen to music and sometimes get hooked up on whats cool/uncool to like. Fantastic pop band imo.
Good Call

Altered Images were the 1st band i ever seen in concert supporting Adam & The Ants at the Glasgow Apollo 1981. I love them totally agree with you Pete very under-rated band
